Establishment of New Company and Acquisition of Property in Malaysia

CKD Corporation (Headquarters: Komaki-City, Aichi, Japan, President: Katsuhito Okuoka) is pleased to announce that it has established a subsidiary (the “Subsidiary”) in Malaysia and decided to acquire the land and buildings of the plant (the “Property”) by the Subsidiary.
With a view to mid- to long-term growth and enhancement of corporate value, we are making investments to build a business foundation for the future. Through the establishment of this Subsidiary and the acquisition of this Property, we will strengthen our production system in anticipation of the growing demand for equipment products in Asia.
The acquisition of the Property as well as other local investment plans are being promoted with sustained cooperation of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA).

Site area　: Approx. 87,400 m²
Building area　: Approx. 15,800 m²
Property acquisition　: May 2023 (After approval by local authorities)
Planned operation start　: End of 2024
Total investment　: Approx. JPY 4 billion
