Selected as a constituent of “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index“

CKD Corporation (Headquarters: Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Katsuhito Okuoka) announces it has been included in the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index.

The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index was created by FTSE Russell, a global index provider, and reflects the relative performance of Japanese companies with superior environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance in their respective sectors. The indexes are designed to be sector-neutral, reflecting the relative performance of Japanese companies that are ESG-responsive in their sectors. In order to facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy, only those companies with particularly high greenhouse gas emissions are included, as their improvement efforts are evaluated by the TPI Management Quality Score*.

*TPI Management Quality Score:A score that assesses companies on carbon emissions data and the management of risks and opportunities for a transition to a low-carbon economy.

CKD strives for technological innovation and value creation to solve various issues in society through its business areas of automation and fluid control. We will continue to contribute to the “creation of a prosperous society” as stated in our corporate philosophy, and work earnestly toward the realization of a sustainable society.

FTSE Russell confirms that CKD has been independently assessed according to the index criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index. The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.
