CKD Corporation (Head Office: Komaki city, Aichi prefecture / Representative Director & President: Katsuhito Okuoka) has received the WorldStar Award at the WorldStar Global Packaging Awards 2026, and AsiaStar Award at the AsiaStar 2025 Awards for “ClearE-Sheet”, a new environmentally friendly PTP sheet*.

*PTP sheet: An acronym for “Press Through Pack,” a form of packaging for tablets and capsules that can be removed by pushing them through the pack with a finger.

1. Award background

ClearE-Sheet qualified for entry into the AsiaStar Awards and WorldStar Global Packaging Awards after receiving the Appropriate Packaging Award at the Japan Packaging Contest 2025.
This result reflects the strong international recognition of CKD’s technological capabilities, for which we hold top share in the pharmaceutical packaging field in Japan, and our efforts to reduce environmental impact.

The WorldStar Global Packaging Awards is a globally prestigious packaging competition that brings together exceptional products that have been recognized in their respective countries.
The purpose of this award is to promote superior packaging and packaging technologies worldwide while competing in terms of protection, preservation, usability, environmental friendliness, and regional adaptability.

• AsiaStar Awards [Host: Asian Packaging Federation (APF)]

The purpose of this contest is to introduce exceptional packaging from Asian countries to the world.
Only packaging that has received awards in domestic contests in their respective countries are qualified to enter, and in Japan, eligibility is limited to products that have received awards in the Japan Packaging Contest.
