Opening of the ulu Creative Base Showroom at the Komaki Headquarters

CKD Corporation (Headquarters: Komaki City, Aichi, Japan, President: Katsuhito Okuoka) opened a new showroom at its headquarters in Komaki on January 22, 2024.

ulu Creative Base (“ulu” means to grow up in Hawaiian.)

Concept:
A space for co-creation with customers

Highlights:
The main motif is the “Tree of Growth” that expresses the history of our diverse technologies. Visitors can experience the appeal of CKD products in this impressive space with its warm wooden design and various contents We also have a space for seminars and meetings, where we aim to communicate together with visitors and create new innovations.

(1) CKD Story
Experience co-creation from the past to the future using digital content.
(2) CKD Products area
Introduction of CKD’s manufacturing from the basics to applications of pneumatics, fluid control, and electric motion devices. In addition, there is a Creative Room for large groups and a Lounge for relaxed conversation.

Opening Ceremony:
The opening ceremony on January 22 was attended by Aichi Prefecture Governor Omura and Komaki City Vice Mayor Hiraoka, who toured the showroom and the onsite daycare center.
