Notification on the Receipt of the “Environment, Resources and Energy Related Component Award”

CKD Corporation (Head Office: Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture; Representative Director, President, Corporate Officer and Chief Executive Officer: Katsuhito Okuoka) received the “Environment, Resources and Energy Related Component Award” at the “22nd Annual ‘CHO’ MONODZUKURI Innovative Parts and Components Awards, 2025” (sponsored by the MONODZUKURI Nihon Conference and NIKKAN KOGYO SHIMBUN, LTD.) for its “Pulsed Blow Valve BNP Series.”

1. ‘CHO’ MONODZUKURI Innovative Parts and Components Awards Overview

In order to help enhance the competitiveness of Japanese manufacturing, these awards are granted to parts and components that contribute behind the scenes to the development of industry and society in the six areas of machinery and robotics; electrical and electronics; mobility related; environment, resources and energy related; health & welfare, biotechnology and medical equipment; and solutions-related to lifestyle and social issues. This year, the awards were granted to nearly 40 superior parts and components that contribute to Japanese manufacturing.

2. Award Summary

(1) Judging Results: Environment, Resources and Energy Related Component Award

(2) Awarded part: Pulsed Blow Valve BNP Series

(3) Product Summary: Pulsed blow valves release pulses of air at the desired interval during blowing operations, which consume the majority of compressed air generated at production sites and elsewhere.
While maintaining blowing effectiveness, these valves reduce air consumption by up to 75% and cut down on electricity consumption, thereby contributing to both cost-effectiveness and global environmental protection.

The lineup includes a unit type that is directly integrated into automated lines and a gun type that is held and operated by hand.
