CKD Corporation (Headquarters: Komaki-City, Aichi, Japan, President: Katsuhito Okuoka) is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a constituent of the “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index” for the third consecutive year.

The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index was created by FTSE Russell, a global index provider, and reflects the relative performance of Japanese companies with superior environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance in their respective sectors. The indexes are designed to be sector-neutral, reflecting the relative performance of Japanese companies that are ESG-responsive in their sectors. In order to facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy, only those companies with particularly high greenhouse gas emissions are included, as their improvement efforts are evaluated by the TPI Management Quality Score*.

*TPI Management Quality Score:A score that assesses companies on carbon emissions data and the management of risks and opportunities for a transition to a low-carbon economy.

We are committed to technological innovation and value creation to solve environmental and social issues through our business areas of automation and fluid control. We will continue to make sincere efforts to realize a healthy global environment and a prosperous future.

FTSE Russell confirms that CKD has been independently assessed according to the index criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index. The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.
