Completion of the Hokuriku Plant
CKD Corporation (Headquarters: Komaki City, Aichi, Japan, President: Katsuhito Okuoka) has constructed its new Hokuriku Plant in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, for which it held a completion ceremony on March 25.
The Company is investing to build a business foundation for the future with the intention of achieving medium- to long-term growth and greater corporate value. In anticipation of steadily increasing demand in the field of semiconductor-related equipment, this plant both seeks to strengthen the Company’s production system and to address BCP in the event of a disaster by decentralizing production currently concentrated at plants in the Tohoku and Tokai regions.
