UKCA Marking

UKCA Marking

The United Kingdom seceded from the EU on January 31, 2020 (British Exit: Brexit). As a result, CE Marking has gradually been eliminated in the United Kingdom, and UKCA Marking has been newly established as a means of verifying that safety standards have been met when exporting equipment and products to the United Kingdom.

The UKCA Marking, like CE, certifies that the product satisfies all UK regulatory requirements applicable to it. As the contents of the legislation and standards relating to the product are almost identical to those of the EU, the product itself is no different from the CE-marked product.

Within the UK, the UKCA Marking is not applicable to the Northern Ireland market.
