IECEx (International Electrotechnical Commission System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for Use in Explosive Atmospheres) is an international certification system for explosion-proof equipment operated under the IEC.
While obtaining IECEx certification does not exempt a product from the certifications and inspections required by the laws of individual countries, it demonstrates that the product meets the requirements of IEC standards and is highly reliable.
