Drain Separator with 99% Water Separation Efficiency

Do you have measures to prevent water (drainage) from being generated when compressed air is used during humid periods such as the rainy season or when condensation occurs? In this issue, we would like to propose an easy-to-implement countermeasure.

Insufficient removal of water from compressed air can cause failures of cylinders, solenoid valves, etc., or cause water to adhere to products in the air blowing process. However, many people may have given up on trying to remove moisture in the piping because it is supplied from the existing piping in the factory and there is no way to counteract the problem.

If you are interested, please watch the experimental video. Assuming condensate accumulated in the factory piping, what happens when compressed air containing pink water is blown through the condensate separator on the right side of the screen?

CKD's Drain separator FX series removes more than 99% of the water by using a cyclone effect to hit the inner wall of the bowl with water droplets in the compressed air, causing them to collect and grow larger. It can be easily installed in the middle of the piping just like an air filter, and since there is no element, it is maintenance-free.

Please try it for yourself.
