To customers in Japan using the Refrigerated
Air Dryer / Chiller (water cooler),

In Japan, due to revisions in regulations CKD's Refrigerated Air Dryer and Chiller (water cooler) now falls under the “Section 1 Provision of Information on Inspection and Other Maintenance of Specified Maintenance Products”, and so customers are now obligated to conduct simple inspections and periodic examinations on them.

What is involved a simple inspection?

What is required in the inspections?

In Japan, in regard to the revised refrigerant law (Freon emissions limitations law), to limit the emission of CFC, HCFC and HFC, which are the cause of global warming and the destruction of the ozone layer, those in-charge of managing commercial air conditioners / freezer and refrigeration components are obligated to adequately manage components as well as refrigerants. In cases of violation or fraudulant activities, those in-charge will be subject to punishment.

What would happen if I break the regulations?

For example, inspections were neglected and the refrigerant within the equipment was allowed to indiscriminately discharge is a criminal offence.
What if I break

up to 1 year jail time or up to \500,000 in fines will be handed down.
